Cookie Policy
Most websites store tiny files on your device, and this one does as well. The Cookie Policy for the Burger King Menu explains the cookies used on burgerkingmenuprices.com and how you can switch them off. You can read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser, allowing the site to remember your preferences and enabling us to keep track of how many people read each page.
Since cookies consist only of text, they are unable to execute programs or infect your device with a virus. A few of them disappear when you close your browser, while others remain for weeks or months until they expire or are deleted by you.
Types of Cookies We Use
The Burger King menu includes three types of cookies: essential cookies, analytics cookies, and advertising cookies. We are the ones that place some of them, and our partners place the others.
Essential Cookies
You can’t switch off essential cookies since they are needed for the site to function; one of them stores the answer that you gave to our cookie questionnaire so that we don’t ask you the same question on each page, and they don’t track you on other websites.
Analytics Cookies
The analytics provided by Google Analytics tell us which menu and price guides are read the most. The only information we have is totals, for example, the number of visits that a page received.
We should check those prices more frequently if a lot of people read our breakfast menu guide.
Advertising Cookies
The ads displayed by Google AdSense and Ezoic serve to show advertisements and keep track of how many people view or click on them, and the revenue generated from these ads is what pays for the website, which is why each guide remains free to read.
Cookies on This Site
The cookies on our website all expire after a fixed period of time. Google Analytics uses a cookie known as ga, which can remain for up to two years. Google’s ad cookies, such as gads and IDE, generally last for about thirteen months.
Ezoic alters its cookies when it is testing new ad layouts, and therefore its list is frequently updated. The most recent list can be found in the partner section of our Privacy Policy.
Third Party Cookies
The cookies set by Google and Ezoic are third-party cookies, meaning it is those companies and not us that place them. They determine how their cookies function and adhere to their own privacy policies when using your data.
You’ll find out how Google deals with this on its cookies page, and Ezoic sets out its rules in its privacy policy.
How to Manage Cookies
At any time you can choose to allow, block, or delete cookies, though blocking all cookies may cause some sections of the site to stop functioning properly.
Through Our Consent Banner
When people first visit websites in the European Economic Area, in the UK, and in Switzerland, they see a cookie notice. Since privacy laws in these places, for example, the GDPR, require that websites ask for permission before using cookies that are not essential, you can alter your preference at a later stage by clicking on the ‘Privacy Settings’ link located at the bottom of any page.
Through Your Browser
With Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, you can see your cookies and delete them through the settings. Find a menu labelled “Privacy” or “Cookies and site data”; it is then possible to block cookies from other companies, thereby preventing most ad cookies.
Opting Out of Personalised Ads
If you want to stop ads that are based on the websites you browse, you should turn off personalised ads in Google’s My Ad Center. There are further steps you can take to opt out as described in our Privacy Policy. Ads will still be displayed to you, but they won’t be selected for you.
Changes to This Cookie Policy
Whenever our partners or the cookies change, we make sure to update this page along with the date at the top; before carrying out each update, our editor, Peter Stimpson, checks the cookie details against the partners’ own lists.
